Manaslu Trek is more or less regarded as a remote and a virgin trekking trails which is gradually becoming popular trekking trail as other trekking trails like Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and so on to the travelers . Manaslu is very proud itself to be standing at the height of 8163m as eighth highest peaks in the world, was officially opened for the trekking purpose to tourists since 1992.
Since Manaslu is located near the border of Nepal and Tibet, trekkers can experience some special dialects. The name Manaslu reefers "The Spirit-Mountain”. According to the local dialects it refers to be the benevolent and strong deity that dwells within. The sheer challenge of this trekking is Larkya Pass .Moving on the remote trails which is yet to be unspoilt and the diverse scenery can be seized so as to satisfy ourselves. Then the trail moves from the sub tropical foothills of the Himalaya to the arid Trans Himalayan high pastures bordering Tibet. In this area relatively few trekkers enjoy their trekking trip so that it is still virgin with a true natural flavor and the environment is tranquil.
To be frank It is not busy trek by any means, but it is getting its popularity for its range of scenery, culture variety and it fledging lodges. As this trek is quite different to other regions it is expected that this trekking trail will be one of the most popular trekking trail very soon because a recent survey of 2012 ha shown that the largest number tourists made their trip to this region.
Manaslu Circuit Trek, begins our t from Arughat Bazaar and follow the impressive Budi Gandaki River north to the village of Deng. Although firstly it is a quite wide, the river valley soon narrows and we find ourselves walking high above the river on spectacular paths. As we trek northwards the valley opens up again to reveal delightful alpine meadows and small Tibetan style villages, which cluster below Manaslu's dramatic north face. We trek through these villages, with rows of prayer wheels and mani stones. Eventually we reach Samagaon, the largest and most important village in the region. From here we head west across the Larkya La (5213m), a classic route linking the Budi Gandaki and the Marsyangdi. The descent takes us through the beautiful alpine meadows at Bimthang before we join the main Annapurna Circuit route, back to the trailhead at Besisahar.
