Nepal 

Nepal is officially the Federal Democratic Secular Republic of Nepal. I t is located in Asia between two giant nations, China and India. Moreover, Nepal is a Himalayan country with the top of the world, Mt. Everest (8848m). Nepal is both culturally and naturally blessed land.

Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. It is known as one of the most ancient cities in Nepal .  Similarly, it is known as the city of Temples. It owns several UNESCO World Heritage sites include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyombahunath Temple, Boddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple. Bhaktapur and Lalitpur or Patan are are neighboring cities. They are very popular among the tourists for ancient arts and architecture.

Pokhara

Pokhara is a tourist hub located at the lap of ( Machhapuchhre) Fishtail. Pokhara is famous for serene lakes and mountain views. The mountain views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre are popular. Similarly, the serene lakes include Phewa, Begnas, Rupa are very popular among the tourists.

Nagarkot

Nagorkot is a hill station around 35 km away from Kathmandu. It is poplar for sunrise and mountain views including Mt. Everest, the top of the world. Tour to Nagarkot is one of the best ideas to escape hustle and bustle of city life.

Chitwan

Chitwan is popular for Chitwan National Park, a UNESO World Heritage site. It is connected by both domestic flight and by road form Kathmandu. we can experience different exciting activities include Jungle Safari, Jungle Walk, Elephant Riding and Elephant Bath, Canoeing, Bird and Crocodile Watching, and Tharu Cultural Show.

Lukla and Namche Bazar

Lukla has a domestic airport which is Lukla Airpot or Tenjing Hilary Airport which mainly connects Everest Region Trekking. After a flight of 35 minutes, we get Lukla. Sometimes, the both way flight get disturbed due to weather condition. Therefore, it is suggested to have some spare days at the end of the trek if we are going to Everest region for trekking.

Namche Bazaar is  a Tibetan market and a popular tourist hub in Everest region. This is the gateway to Everest Region Trekking. The availability of luxury hotels and restaurants make Namche Bazar special these days. Hotel Everest View and Sherpa Cultural Museum are popular things to experience.

Currency in Nepal

Nepali currency is Nepali Rupees. Most of the business activities are carried out through Nepali Rupees. However, USD, AUD, Euro are also acceptable in major cities, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants etc. But these currencies may not be accepted in remote area or trekking areas. So, we’d better  have Nepali currency. There are many ATMs and money exchangers in major cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and  Nagarkot. Or we can get the currency exchanged at the airport on our arrival.

International Airport in Nepal

Trivhuban International Airprt is the only international airport in Nepal. It is located in Kathmandu. We can get local SIM card to access communication. We also can have our currency exchanged here. We easily get on arrival visa at the airport. Sometimes, you may have to face some problems like hassles by local guides and we may miss our luggage. Try to avoid it.

 Are there domestic airports in Nepal?

Yes, There are few domestic airports which connect different major trekking trails. They include Lukla Airport also known as Tenjing Hilary Airport, Phaplu Airport, Tumlingtar Airport, Simikot Airport, Bhairahawa Airport, Pokhara Airport, Jomsom Airport.

Trekking in Nepal

Trekking in Nepal is a fabulous experience. The trekking in Nepal takes us to the country where we can experience typical Nepali lifestyle and breathtaking mountain views.

Nepal offers two different types of trekking include Tea House Trekking and Camping Trekking. Tea House is a Modern form of trekking where as Camping Trekking is a Classical Form of Trekking. The most popular form of trekking is Tea House Trekking. We get accommodation and food at tea house in this trekking. But in Camping Trekking, we have to carry everything by ourselves and we spend the night in tent.

We normally have to work for 4-8 hours in a day. The trail will be off the beaten mostly. Beside mountain views, we experience cascading waterfalls, lush green forest , picturesque landscapes while trekking in the mountain.

Best Seasons to Travel in Nepal

The best seasons to travel in Nepal are either between March-May or Sept- Nov.

How will the accommodation be like?

In the major cities like Chitwan, Kathmandu, Pokhara and Nagarkot, we get whatever accommodation we want but we get normal accommodation in the mountain basically twin sharing. We also can get single accommodation but we have to pay single supplement charge.

How will be the food like?

 We can have any types food item we like in the major cities but we gat limited food items in the mountain as mentioned in their menus.
