About Nar Phu Valley Trek

Nar Phu valley trek is opened for the tourist since 2003 AD. Which takes to you the remote part of Nepal densely populated by Nepalese Tibetans who depend on livestock. Trekking to this exotic land offers medieval Tibetan culture in undisturbed form, dramatic mountain view, and great alpine sceneries. Nar Phu valley treks start from Bhulbhule following the world popular trekking routes Annapurna circuit trail and branch off from Koto to follow the off the beaten track to Nar Phu valley in the north of Manang and pass the Kang La Pass with a magnificent panorama of Annapurna massifs. The Kang La pass links Nar with Manang and 3 other Bhotia village in the Neyshang valley. Especially Nar Phu valley trek popular as a non-touristic destination and also rich in typical cultural heritage. Traditional lifestyle wonderful nomad landscape rewards one of the best exploration journeys in a remote hidden mountain valley.

Day 03 : Drive to Beshishar (700m) trek to Bhulbhule (900m)

Day 04 : Trek Bhulbhule to Jagat (1,310m)

Day 05 : Trek Jagat to Dharapani (1,960)

Day 06 : Trek Dharapani to Koto (2,610m)

Day 07 : Trek Koto to Meta (3,560m)

Day 08 : Trek Meta to Phu Gaon (4,250m)

Day 09 : Acclimatization at Phu Gaon

Day 10 : Trek Phu Gaon to Nar (4,110m)

Day 11 : Trek Nar to Kangla Phedi (4,530m)

Day 12 : Trek down to Ngwal (3,660m) Kang La Pass

Day 13 : Trek Ngwal to Manang (3,540m)

Day 14 : Trek Manang to Yak Kharka (4,000m)

Day 15 : Trek Yak Kharka to Thorong phedi / High Camp

Day 16 : Trek down to Muktinath (3,800m) via Thorong La Pass

Day 17 : Trek Muktinath to Marpha village (2,600m) Jomsom

Day 18 : Trek Ghasa to Tatopani (1,200m) drive back to Pokhara

Day 19 : Sightseeing around Pokhara valley

Day 20 : Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus

Day 21 : Final departure to your onward destination

Note - Naar Phu Valley Trek is consider as a restricted trekking route, so you need minimum 2 people for this trip to obtain the permit or you need to buy an extra permit, single travellers are not permitted to this trail.

NARPHU VALLEY TREKKING

I was planning to do a Nar-Phu alley trek. People call it lost alley it sounded for me very attractive. I decided to do it because of remote area, not popular for many people I like to do things my own way. I wasn't informed well about this trek, so just before my flight to Nepal I got news that I need to get special permits for this trek. To get these permits wasn't easy, because I need to get in to travel agency, get a certified guide and have foreigner trekking partner. I started stressing a lot about it because I didn't know anything about these rules even more about how to obtain special permits. My plan was to trek with Nepaly friend who couldn't help me to obtain the permits. The magic started happening when I landed in Nepal. Somehow I was connected with Ramesh general manager of this company. He explained me the whole process how to make it happen very comprehensibly. I was su blessed and lucky to find him, because he took off a lot of stress over my shoulders. I didn't have much time for obtaining the permits so Ramesh did it very quickly and smoothly, very next day I have all my permits and guide for my trek. At the beginning I wasn't sure if I wanna trek with people I don't know, but my guide Rupesh was really fun guy, we had amazing connection. It was my pleasure to share my trek with him, we had really good time together! I can call him my friend at end of the trek. I highly recommend this company for all coming trekkers in Nepal.
