Langtang, Gosainkunda & Helambu trek commences from Syabrubesi or Dhunche after you are boarded to Syabrubesi or Dhunche by bus from Kathmandu. As you leave for Syabrubesi from Dhunche the more elevation gets higher the more you follow the trail along the Bhote Kosi river through oak, rhododendron, and bamboo and to the Langtang Valley which is really a mesmerizing valley entirely enclosed by tall snow-capped mountains and inhabited by hospitable Sherpa people.
