Kanchenjunga trekking is one of the most thrilling and adventurous trekking destinations in Nepal. Trekking in Kanchenjunga was open for the visitors in 1988; however, the trails still remain unspoiled and virgin. Being the third highest mountain in the world, standing proudly at the height of 8586m located in the eastern part of Nepal, it attracts those thriller and adventure lover around the globe.
Kanchenjunga trekking pleases the trekkers by offering a great variety of landscapes, amazing cultures and splendid view of mountains including the Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga itself, the four of the world’s five highest mountains. This trekking trail lies on the frontier of Nepal and India. The majority of people inhabit here sherpas and they are rich culturally and traditionally. Different interesting religious, cultural and historical sites in the trail let one to taste different flavor of trekking.
Some of the people and trekkers claim that the snow man “Yeti” exists in this region. As Kanchenjunga region is protected by Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project spreading in the area of 2035 sq. km. , one will be offered with varies species of wildlife, plants and animals including snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer red panda and others varies species of birds including Amphibian, pheasant, red-billed blue among others.

 Commencing the Trek from Suketar Taplejung after a flight by air, ends at the same place. The lush of rhododendron forests and  the high alpine terrain beyond the village of Ghunsa, the marvelous sceneries of Kanchenjunga south face. Subsequently,  Lapsung La pass, Selele pass an the Yalung Glacier and  Kanchenjunga base camp are the major attractions as well as adventures in this trekking

Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu (13,45m) at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA). pick up by our office representative, transfer you to your hotel, evening brief you about your trip, Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
  • Day 02 - After breakfast guided sightseeing of Kathmandu valley UNESCO world heritage sites : - Monkey Temple, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple & Bouddhanath Stupa evening get preparation for trek, Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu (B)
  • Day 03 - Fly to Biratnagar then transfer to you your hotel, Overnight at Biratnagar hotel.
  • Day 04 - Drive to Taplejung then trek to Lali Khark, Overnight at a guesthouse. (B, L, D)
  • Day 05 - Trek Lali Khark to Kadebhanjang, Overnight at a guesthouse. (B, L, D)
  • Day 06 - Trek Kadevhanjang to Manakhe, Overnight at a guesthouse. (B, L, D)
  • Day 07 - Trek Manakhe to Yamphudin, Overnight at a guesthouse. (B, L, D)
