Kanchenjunga trekking is one of the most thrilling and adventurous trekking destinations in Nepal. Trekking in Kanchenjunga was open for the visitors in 1988; however, the trails still remain unspoiled and virgin. Being the third highest mountain in the world, standing proudly at the height of 8586m located in the eastern part of Nepal, it attracts those thriller and adventure lover around the globe.
Kanchenjunga trekking pleases the trekkers by offering a great variety of landscapes, amazing cultures and splendid view of mountains including the Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga itself, the four of the world’s five highest mountains. This trekking trail lies on the frontier of Nepal and India. The majority of people inhabit here sherpas and they are rich culturally and traditionally. Different interesting religious, cultural and historical sites in the trail let one to taste different flavor of trekking.
Some of the people and trekkers claim that the snow man “Yeti” exists in this region. Commencing the Trek from Suketar Taplejung after a flight by air, ends at the same place.
